Supporting neurodiverse employees

You want to support neurodiverse employees? You're in the right place!

The first thing to say is that all your employees are neurodiverse – everyone is part of neurodiversity because we need all types of brains to create the diversity aspect!

Within this, there are two broad categories:

Neurotypical – this is people whose brains work in the typical way, or the expected way for the culture and society we're in.

Neurodivergent – this is people whose brains work in a different way to the typical brain and to the typical expectations of our society and culture.

So, when you support neurodiverse employees you're supporting all your employees, which is as it should be! Read my piece about Inclusive Workplace Practices next, then continue your journey through some other employment related articles, before contacting me to set up a scoping call for your training in understanding neurodiversity in the workplace.
